Child receiving speech therapy online

Michele is an experienced speech pathologist with an innate desire to help children develop speech,  language, reading, and spelling skills. She completed a Master of Speech Pathology in 2004, inspiring her to focus on reading and the cognitive science involved in the reading process.

Michele’s training and work experiences have been varied and extensive, ranging from not-for-profit organisations to community health locums and private practices. Through these experiences, she has focused on supporting preschoolers and school-age students. Her training has included:

  • Hanen It Takes Two To Talk 2009
  • Bristol Language and Development Scales (SPA Workshop) 2015
  • Orton Gillingham IMSLE 2019
  • Colourful Semantics 2019
  • Sounds Write 2019

In addition to the above training Michele keeps up to date with her clinical knowledge by attending Speech Pathology Australia workshops, and conferences, doing on-demand courses/ training, listening to podcasts and much more!

Above all, feedback from parents is that Michele is an intuitive therapist who knows how to read children well and get the best from them in therapy sessions.
